The Seattle Seahawks engineered a remarkable comeback to overcome the Los Angeles Rams in extra time, securing their place in the postseason.

Rallying from a sixteen-point deficit in the fourth quarter, the Seattle squad triumphed 38-37 at home, notching their fifth consecutive victory.

While the Los Angeles had already secured a post-season berth earlier on Sunday, the Seattle team secured their place to the postseason after a 24-month absence.

With this result, the Seattle have taken over their Conference race with a 12-3 mark, supplanting the Los Angeles, who fell to the fifth playoff position with an eleven and four record.

Game Highlights

Signal-caller Darnold threw two interceptions but regrouped to make two scoring throws, including the second score to wideout Smith-Njigba in the extra period.

The Rams held a 13-7 advantage at half-time before Kenneth Walker III burst through for a long scoring dash for Seattle.

Rams cornerback Josh Wallace then took back Darnold's first interception for a big return, setting up a one-yard score by Corum on the next play.

In the final stanza, a scoring pass from Matthew Stafford to Nacua extended the advantage to 30-14, but Rashid Shaheed provided Seattle's comeback with a spectacular return for a score.

Darnold then found AJ Barner in the end zone, and a successful conversion sent the game into an extra period.

Although Nacua raced in for his second touchdown in OT, Jaxon Smith-Njigba responded in kind to set up the game-winning conversion.
